Random Thoughts At 9 on the dot

By Catherine Cullen

Yeah.

I want to start an Ask the Marauders part of this website. With Lily and everyone's (at least my) favorite Slytherin, Severus Snape. If you rearrange his name it spells out PURSUES EVANS. How sweet...

So I've decided that I am going to get a book published in my lifetime. I am! Don't doubt it! Who knows, maybe I'll be the nect JK Rowling. Have an awesome book series... except I wouldn't let them cut out cool part like the Marauders. Yeah!

I want to start a petition for a prequel series. GO MARAUDERS! I know, wouldn't those be awesome? I sure think so.

Well I have to go for tonight. Fear me!

Book Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

By Catherine Cullen

SPOILERS AHEAD!

I have finished reading the seventh, and sadly, final Harry Potter book. Never more will we be able to dive into the world of Hogwarts except in fan fictions, role plays, and our imaginations, along with constant reading.

First, let us let the Severus/Lily shipper to get a word. They were right, although I don't think dating was in the spetrum. Poor Sevvy, I feel sorry for him now. Remember back when we thought it would be funny if he liked her? Well he loves her, fellas. Only she marries the very man he hates, Mister James Potter. Poor, Sevvy. Well, just for those fans, SEVVY AND FLOWER!

Now let the Snape fans cry at the loss of Severus Snape. And at Voldemort's hand! Terrible...

On a lighter note, Voldemort is gone! The Boy Who Lived has defeated He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named! Have parties! Throw confetti! Let the Death Eaters and fans weep!

Until next time...

Movie Reviews and Thought: The Thirds

By Catherine Cullen

I just got back from a wonderful period of triogy watching. Shrek the Third, Spider-man 3, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End.

Shrek was.... a disappointment. I thought more humor would be nice. Isn't that the only reason we Americans watch the green creatures? Then they added the poster child for MW, Justin Timberlake. JT MW is there for a reason! Hosting Kid's Choice Awards was bad enough but now he is taking over the movies that are supposed to be humorous? Honestly, the public doesn't care if Shrek, a made up green orge, is scared of being a father. We want to be entertained and laugh! Honestly. Come back with a funny orge film or not at all.

Spider-man gets a four out of five. The graphics were well done. I applaud them on that. The weirdness scale? A four out of five, like the rating. The only reason it doesn't get a five? I saw Pirates. But we'll get to that later. The romance between Peter and Mary Jane is interesting though. This is the first comic book movie I really want to watch! Mary Jane doesn't seem like a Mary Sue that all the other heros' lovers are. She has flaws. She's fired because of a small voice, betrayed, and rejection. She doesn't go around being perfect and hated by the general masses. Their feelings remain about the same through the movie but are torn by the other's actions. Will they end up together in the end. Although as soon as Harry decides to help Peter he dies, I can't wait for the next one. By the way, happy up-coming birthday, Toby!

And next... Pirates. Where to begin? What about at the situation of our favorite captain. Wait, there's three of them? Of course, Captain Jack. Who else? Elizabeth? Swann? Yes, in fact. She's made the Pirate King too. Nice little bonus for the now Mrs. Turner. Yes, they are married amid swords and killings by their own hands. And the last captain? The one of the Flying Dutchman, of course. Mister William Turner. Will Turner. His heart is in fact in the chest. The Dutchman must always have a captain. If you pierce the heart you must give your own. We'll have to wait ten years, I guess, for darling William to come back to his love, sadly. The sequel's set to come out and I CANNOT wait.

Love y'all!

Kitty Cat

PS Do you know what Jack Sparrow wants most in the world? His rum, of course. The end of the movie proves it! ^.^
